In the past month, Girls Lacrosse has started their season off with a win against Cate High. They also played in a Cannon Cup, and they took home the win for the Chargers. Defeating Oak Park with a 14-6 win. A statement from Gennavie Piers, a midfielder, describing the game. “It was very exciting to play with all my teammates in such a big event,” said Genna Pierce. Amany Cabety, the new goalie and a freshman for the team, describes the team as very welcoming: “This is my first year playing, and everyone is very supportive during games.” She also recently won the athlete of the week this March. Overall, girls’ lacrosse seems to be doing pretty well. Hopefully, the girls’ lacrosse team has a great rest of their season.
