Tara Davis Invitational 2026

Agoura High School really came alive on the weekend of February 28th for the 2026 Tara Davis Invitational! This track meet is going on its 3rd year, and it’s only getting bigger! This meet was started to honor the legacy of the decorated track and field star Tara Davis-Woodhall, who is an Agoura High School Alumni.

Athletes and schools from across Southern California came to compete in running and field events. We had the honor of welcoming Tara Davis-Woodhall herself, who inspired student athletes throughout the day. Students were able to get autographs and photos with her and her husband.

The competition was fierce from start to end. Events included sprints, distance runs, relays, jumps, and throws, giving athletes a chance to showcase their talents in every aspect of track and field. The energy in the stadium was electric, with cheers from students, families, and visiting fans filling the air. Athletes gave it their all and showed incredible dedication and talent. It was amazing to see so many athletes excitedly shouting, ‘I got a PR!’ after achieving personal bests.

It was an amazing meet that put Agoura on the map as a school capable of hosting some of the state’s top track and field competitions. Agoura High looks forward to hosting many more years of this exciting and inspiring event.
